SPECULATOR: 2016 Trade deadline roundtable, pt. 2

With a week to go until the deadline, the trade rumor mill is heating up. Following up from our piece two weeks ago, our three Speculator contributors—Ray Murphy, Brent Hershey and Jock Thompson—engage in a bit of banter about possibly players who could move, and teams who might be active, in the next seven days. Listen in.

RAY: In our last roundtable, we wondered who would be the first to act in the trade market. We got it partially right, identifying the Red Sox need to address their starting pitching. We just got the name wrong (we had Teheran, not Pomeranz). Boston also added Brad Ziegler, but the market has been otherwise quiet.

What does the Pomeranz-for-Espinoza deal tell you about the state of the market right now?

JOCK: I liked...

Almost!
