Reports come out that not only did Dansby Swanson undergo successful surgery on a core injury… he underwent that successful surgery in early October! Right after the season ended.
The news came out of nowhere—Swanson only missed 13 games in May with a knee injury in 2024—and offered little solace to fantasy managers who just endured one of Swanson's worst seasons as a pro (.242 BA, 16 HR). The fact that he likely played a good chunk of the season injured? Arrrrggghh!
