Injury: Strained left hamstring. Received a PRP (platelet-rich plasma) treatment recently though it is unknown if that will speed up his recovery.
DL date: May 14
Estimated DL Time: 15-18 days is likely.

Brandon Inge (3B, OAK)
Injury: Strained right groin.
DL date: Retroactive to May 13
Estimated DL Time: Inge is expected to be activated May 28-30.

Lance Berkman (1B, STL)
Injury: Right knee injury. Cardinals have not announced the type of injury, though it appears to be a torn meniscus based on Berkman’s description.
DL date: May 20
Estimated DL Time: Out at least until mid-June if not later depending on the severity of the cartilage damage.

Brandon McCarthy (RHP, OAK)
Injury: Soreness right shoulder
