Jaime García (LHP, STL)
Injury: Impingement, left shoulder
DL date: June 6
Estimated DL Time: Wow, this could be a major injury. This issue may have bothered him for a while based on his recent comments. He will be shutdown for four weeks and also do some physical therapy once the discomfort subsides. If all goes well he be allowed to do some light tossing then. If not, surgery would be the likely option. Garcia is out until early August at the least, and any kind of setback likely sends him to the operating room.

Derek Holland (RHP, TEX)
Injury: Fatigue, left shoulder
DL date: June 6
Estimated DL Time: Roughly three weeks. All the tests did not show any damage to the shoulder.
