DR HQ: Opening Day DLs: Crisp, Verlander, Rendon, Saunders, etc.

Note: Because most of the teams have not made their official DL moves yet, DL dates are projected in some cases.

Coco Crisp (OF, OAK)
Injury: Bone Chips – right elbow; surgery
DL date: April 4
Estimated DL time: 6 to 8 weeks. This puts his return mid-to-late May.
Estimated 2015 effect upon return: This might cause a slow start at the plate in terms of batting average, until he shakes off the rust.

Anthony Rendon (3B, WAS)
Injury: Sprained MCL (medial collateral ligament) – left knee. Likely a Grade 1 strain.
DL date: April 4
Estimated DL time: Unknown. He got three opinions to discover why a supposedly minor ailment is slow to respond to treatment. MCL sprains are slow to heal because of location, blood supply, etc.
Estimated 2015...
