NEWS: The Detroit Tigers have activated SS Javier Báez and placed CF Parker Meadows on the 10-day IL; in corresponding moves OF Akil Baddoo was recalled from AAA-Toledo while SS Ryan Kriedler was optioned to the minors

BHQ SPIN: Meadows strained his right hamstring on Sunday after sliding into second base on a steal attempt. His second stint in the Majors this season was on the right track as he had gone 4-for-11 while playing centerfield. Baddoo will reverse course and return to the Majors as he was the odd man out when Meadows was recalled.
