Soriano injury extends Plesac's stay in Angels' rotation

Los Angeles Angels
NEWS: Placed RHP José Soriano on the IL with an abdominal infection.
IMPACT: Low
BHQ SPIN: Soriano missed a start earlier this week due to this abdominal issue, the IL stint means he will likely miss at least two more starts. We’ve deducted 1.5% PT from him, and allocated the same to Zach Plesac, who handled Soriano’s last turn and figures to continue filling in for the duration of Soriano’s absence. Before this callup to LAA, Plesac had posted a 5.42 ERA in Triple-A, so don’t rush to your FAAB wires to claim him.
