BHQ SPIN: Sano hit seventh and went 0-for-2 with two strikeouts before being lifted for a pinch-hitter in the eighth inning on Thursday, his first big-league action since July 29, 2022. His spring training performance of 4 HR and 20 strikeouts in 61 plate appearances and a .204/.299/.444 slashline indicates that despite the slimmed-down physique, he’s much the same player from two seasons ago.
