NEWS: Colorado placed SS Adael Amador and OF Charlie Blackmon on the 10-day IL and in corresponding moves activated 2B Brendan Rodgers from the 10-day IL and recalled OF Sam Hilliard from AAA-Albuquerque.

BHQ SPIN: Leadoff hitter Charlie Blackmon is dealing with a right hamstring strain and will need some time on the IL for that to heal. He’s still been a solid producer, sporting a slash line of .266/.337/.410 with 3 HRs and 5 SBs at age 37. Hilliard will take his spot on the roster and sports a power/speed combo, but he has never made enough contact to fully tap into it. Rodgers also returns to take his usual spot at second base as Amador has been playing there most days after Rodgers...
