NEWS: With the waiving of SS Ha-Seong Kim, Carson Williams should receive regular playing time at shortstop over the season’s final month.

BHQ SPIN: In his first 32 plate appearances, Williams has flashed a bit of power (HR, 2 2B) but has also struck out in 40 percent of his at-bats. The Rays, however, appear to be OK with letting Williams try to work through his struggles. Whether you will want that on your fantasy roster will likely depend on whether you need to protect your team batting average from possible harm. Tampa may at some point get SS Taylor Walls back from his groin strain, but providing Williams an extended audition would seem to be the better use of the playing time for...
