NEWS: MIN placed 3B Royce Lewis on the 10-day IL and recalled OF Jordan Luplow from Class AAA St. Paul.

BHQ SPIN: Lewis strained his left hamstring Tuesday night but will be eligible to return during the final weekend of the regular season. Lewis had a .309 BA with 15 HR and 52 RBI in 217 AB. Willi Castro (.252 BA, 9 HR, 34 RBI in 337 AB) and Kyle Farmer (.245-11-40 in 306 AB) are expected to fill in at 3B. Castro has started the last two games for MIN at 3B while Farmer has seen action at SS.
