NEWS: Detroit activated outfielders Riley Greene and Akil Baddoo from the 10-day IL. Utilityman Tyler Nevin was optioned to AAA-Toledo and infielder Jonathan Schoop was designated for assignment.

BHQ SPIN: The return of promising young center fielder Riley Greene is the big news here. Greene was showing some signs of skills growth specifically with his hard contact (HctX: 97 in 2022 / 104 in 2023) and power (XPX: 96 in 2022 / 115 in 2023). These are still baby steps and some of his gains can be attributed to an elevated 41 H%. Greene will need to improve on his contact rate (69 CT%) and start tapping into the latent power and speed (SPD 150) that made him a premium prospect. Greene...
