NEWS: New York traded closer David Robertson to the Marlins in exchange for two minor league infielders.

BHQ SPIN: Left hander Brooks Raley got the first shot at closing in place of Robertson, moments after Robertson was traded, and successfully closed out the Nationals in a 2-1 Mets win on Thursday. Through games of July 26th, Raley has a 2.57 ERA, but his xERA is nearly two runs higher, and his BPV is a pedestrian 81. Raley figures to split closing duties with right hander Adam Ottavino, who was warming in the ninth inning in case Raley got into trouble.
