BHQ take: As reported in a previous column, Hendricks' return will result in replacement starter LHP Mike Montgomery returning to a bullpen role. Montgomery made eight starts among his 27 appearances, with 37 K/15 BB in 40.1 IP in that role. He displayed sharper Control as a starter than he has as a reliever in 2017.
