Crawford may not be ready for Opening Day

After signing a seven-year, $142M contract prior to last season, Carl Crawford (OF, BOS) suffered through a miserable first year in Boston.  The odds of a full rebound appear to be decreasing, as he underwent arthroscopic wrist surgery in mid-January, and manager Bobby Valentine has indicated that he wouldn’t be surprised if Crawford misses the first few weeks of the 2012 season.  The Boston outfield is already lacking in depth, as Josh Reddick was traded during the off-season and Ryan Kalish underwent labrum surgery in November.  While he has already reported to spring training, Kalish hasn't started swinging a bat, and isn't expected to return to action until May at the...
