NEWS: Baltimore reinstated 1B Ryan Mountcastle from the 10-day IL and optioned DH Eloy Jiménez to AAA-Norfolk.

BHQ SPIN: Mountcastle, who had been sidelined since late August due to a sprained left wrist, returned to Baltimore's roster on Tuesday and figures to get some reps at first base. However, Mountcastle sat on Tuesday, with Ryan O'Hearn starting at first base and Heston Kjerstad starting at designated hitter, so Mountcastle may not be in a regular role for the final week of the season. To make room for Mountcastle on the active roster, Jiménez, a pending free agent, was demoted to AAA. Jiménez was acquired by Baltimore at the trade deadline to fill a role as a weak-side platoon...
