López returns to aid in Braves playoff push

NEWS: Atlanta is expected to activate RHP Reynaldo López (shoulder inflammation) from the 15-day IL and have him start versus Kansas City on Saturday.

BHQ SPIN: This was López’ second IL stint in as many months. Over 24 starts, he has a 2.03 ERA, making him a good choice for a start at this point in the season. Note, however, his xERA is 3.69, and he also has pitched more than six innings only once this season, seven innings back in late April.
