NEWS: Baltimore placed LHP John Means on the 15-day IL with a left forearm strain and recalled RHP Jonathan Heasley from AAA-Norfolk.

BHQ SPIN: After feeling elbow discomfort during his start on Wednesday, Means will now be shut down for the foreseeable future. This injury is the latest setback for Means, who underwent Tommy John Surgery in May 2022 and dealt with elbow soreness last October, which led to a delayed start to this season. Means is still undergoing testing, so more clarity on his status should be known in the next couple of days.
