Hernández to gain time with Freeman out

Los Angeles Dodgers
NEWS: The Dodgers placed 1B Freddie Freeman on the 10-day IL after he aggravated his surgically repaired right ankle in a shower mishap on Monday, March 31.
IMPACT: High
BHQ SPIN: After missing three games due to the injury, the Dodgers placed Freeman on the IL to let him fully recover. The IL move is retroactive to March 31, so Freeman will be eligible to return to the lineup on Thursday, April 10. IF/OF Kiké Hernández has taken Freeman’s spot at 1B in all three games and we would expect him to see most of the time there while Freeman is sidelined. We have decreased Freeman’s playing time at 1B (-5%) and shifted it to Hernández (+5%).
