Fairchild returns to a crowded Reds outfield

NEWS: OF Stuart Fairchild was activated from the injured list.
IMPACT: Medium 
BHQ SPIN: Fairchild (+10%) returns to the now-crowded outfield, as the club has added outfielders Austin Slater and Rece Hinds (+10%) to the mix. With the return of OF TJ Friedl on the horizon, there is a bit of uncertainty as to how the PT will shake out. Fairchild’s performance has been somewhat lackluster this season, slashing .225/.298/.347 over 192 PA, albeit with some expected pop (112 xPX) that hasn’t come through in his production thus far. Hinds, on the other hand, has been excellent (over a much smaller sample), and it will be difficult to keep his 1.538 OPS out of the lineup, until he cools off. 1B/DH Edwin Ríos...
