NEWS: Chicago placed LHP Justin Steele on the 15-day IL with a left hamstring strain and recalled RHP Ben Brown from AAA-Iowa.

BHQ SPIN: Steele left Thursday’s start after injuring his left hamstring while fielding a bunt and an MRI revealed a grade 1 strain. Before Saturday’s game, manager Craig Counsell stated that he expects Steele to miss all of April but is expecting a return to Chicago’s rotation at some point in May.
