NEWS: Colorado placed OF Nolan Jones on the 10-day IL and in a corresponding move recalled OF Sean Bouchard from AAA-Albuquerque.

BHQ SPIN: The back issues have popped up again for Jones and after being scratched from the lineup on 7/12, he now hits the IL. This sounds like roughly the same issue that he was out for a month with earlier this year. Jones was hitting better than his dreadful start over the last month, with a .753 OPS and 2 HRs, but his overall season numbers are still well down from his excellent Rockies debut in 2023. This will be Bouchard’s third time up with the Rockies, but he hasn’t done a ton with the bat during his time with the major league club. We’ve reduced...
