Woo leads the way on Monday

Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather: There are just 11 games on this Monday slate. First pitch comes at 6:40pm ET with the Marlins hosting the Nationals. Weather forecast looks clear for all games today.

Notable Starts:

Bryan Woo will be looking to bounce back from his first PQS-DIS in his last 14 starts. He draws a nice matchup to do just that as the opposing Cardinals are averaging just 3.8 runs per game in the second half where they own a MLB-worst .656 OPS. If they are going to do damage expect it to come early as 17 of the 57 ER he has allowed have come in the first inning. In 12 home starts this season he is 8-2 with a 2.35 ERA, 0.84 WHIP, and 78 K in 77 IP. Woo is limiting left-handed batters to a .204 BA and .621 OPS.
