Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather: Two doubleheaders are part of a 16-game MLB slate for Thursday. The Boston Red Sox and Seattle Mariners are idle, but the other 28 teams will divvy up 10 matinees and six night games. The St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago White Sox will make up a June 18 postponed-due-to-rain rain contest and so will the Pittsburgh Pirates and Detroit Tigers. Rain shouldn't be too much of a concern across Thursday's baseball weather map. But woe betide the fly-ball pitchers in games at Detroit, New York (LAA@NYY), San Francisco (CLE@SF), and Washington (COL@SF). Hefty batter's winds are expected across the game hours of those contests.
