Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather: The last day of the season has an extreme risk of short starts and bullpen games. There is a full slate, with all 15 games scheduled to start between 3:05 and 3:20 ET. The weather looks reasonable everywhere.
Notable Starts:
Brady Singer has an unusual line in our metric - his last five pure quality starts have gone 5-4-3-2-1. The projection for this week is the middle the road. With the Reds playoff hopes possibly on the line Sunday, and very likely more urgency in the Reds dugout than the Brewers dugout, he should be set up for success. I cannot unsee the 22% K-BB% of August.
