King looks to bring down the Giants
Sep 6 2024
Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather: We have 15 games on tap, starting with a matinee game between the Yankees and Cubs. It’s heating up around the country, which could favor more offenses. With some good pitching scheduled today, we only have two games with nine or more run totals.
Notable Starts:
Michael King enters today with ten straight starts allowing three earned runs or less. King has a 2.21 ERA and 3.42 SIERA over the ten starts, with a 21.2% K-BB. Today, he takes on a Giants team, striking out 26.9% of the time versus RHP over the past month while hitting .215 with an 84 wRC+. King is rated as the top-rated pitcher today with a 2.1 overall rating to go with a great 2.8 strikeout rating as he looks for another strong start.
