Gore leads the way on a day full of aces

Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather: We have a full day of baseball action today, starting with the Cubs and Mets at 12:05 pm ET. There has been some bumpy weather along the east coast, but we’ll avoid postponement chances. We have some good pitching on tap, but plenty of suspect arms, as evidenced by at least three games with totals of nine runs or more.

MacKenzie Gore is breaking out before our eyes this season and is coming off a five-inning start in Great American Small Park, where he allowed one run and struck out nine. Gore has a 3.33 ERA and 2.38 SIERA over his eight starts with an outstanding 29.4% K-BB. Today, he takes on a Cardinals offense hitting .258 over the past month versus LHP with a .080 ISO and 91...
