Fried a top option as he takes on the Nats

Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather: We have a full slate of games, starting with the Nationals and Yankees at 1:05 pm EST. We have had some great weather over the last few days, and hopefully that continues again today. We have a decent amount of aces, leading to a couple of games with totals of nine runs or more.  

 

Notable Starts:

Max Fried is coming off a much-needed quality start, where he threw six shutout innings against the Red Sox, with three walks and seven strikeouts. Over Fried’s previous eight starts, he has struggled tremendously, allowing 31 earned runs over 41 innings pitched for a 6.80 ERA and 4.46 SIERA to go with a measly 10.9% K-BB. Fried takes on a Nats team struggling over the past month versus LHP hitting .203...
