Framber leads the way on a loaded Friday

Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather: Thanks to a doubleheader between the Brewers and the Reds, we have 16 games on tap. Rain is heading through the Midwest, but hopefully, we can avoid postponements like we did on Thursday. With many suspect starters on the slate, we have at least six games with run totals of nine or more.

Framber Valdez has been dominant in August, and it looks like the ace the Astros need. Over his four August starts, Framber has allowed six earned runs over 27 innings pitched with 31 strikeouts for a 25.8% K-BB. He has taken care of business in some tough matchups recently and has another one today versus a Royals team with a 117 wRC+ versus LHP over the past month. Valdez is the second-rated pitcher...
