This doesn't look like the best week for adding a two-start pitcher off the waiver wire, and the "Looking Ahead" section below suggests next week may not be the time to do so, either. If you aren't in a tight ratio race, you still may want to gamble on a risky player with some upside, but otherwise, it may be best to focus on protecting ERA and WHIP, and chasing wins and strikeouts a couple weeks down the road.
