DAILY MATCHUPS: Kopech takes on Twins

Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather: There is full schedule of games here on this Tuesday with 15 games on the slate. First pitch will come early at 4:10pm EST when the Padres host the Mariners. Rain could impact the NYM@CIN and MIN@CHW games.

 

Notable Starts:

Michael Kopech looks like he is having a breakout season as his surface stats reflect a 2.78 ERA and 1.03 WHIP. Across his last six starts, the results have not been pretty as he is 1-4 with a 5.19 ERA, 1.31 WHIP, and 4.94 xERA. His lone start versus the Twins earlier this season did result in a PQS-4. He has been extremely effective against right-handed bats holding them to a .144 BA and .442 OPS.
