George Kirby has been hit or miss in his rookie season as in his nine starts, three have resulted in a PQS-DOM, while two have resulted in a PQS-DIS. He was in good form in his previous start versus the Orioles, a PQS-4 back on May 31. He owns some extreme reverse splits, holding left-handed batters to just a .497 OPS, while right-handed batters have a strong .927 OPS.
