Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather: Eleven games are on the docket with start times ranging from 1:15 p.m. to 9:40 p.m. Atlanta is the only rain risk, and even that’s just a small chance for a passing storm. Unfortunately, that’s also the rubber match of the day. On the whole, it’s an ace-tastic slate.

Jacob deGrom leads the way in three categoriesstrikeouts, ERA, and WHIP. In three starts, he’s maxed out at 20 batters faced. Don’t expect more than a tiny expansion of that workload. In 16.2 innings, he’s allowed just six hits, a walk, and three runs compared to 28 strikeouts. He doesn’t yet seem to have feel for his usually plus changeup. For now, he’s a fastball-slider guy. That level of predictability is a minor...
