DAILY MATCHUPS: Fried among numerous highly-rated hurlers

Max Fried owns a sub-3.00 xERA across his last six starts. He’s clocked a 0.46 ERA over three career starts against St. Louis (two were last year). Fried is tough on right-handed bats, and that’s a big key against STL.

Trevor Rogers has struggled mightily in backing up his 2.64 ERA/3.63 xERA from a year ago. He totes a 5.56 ERA/4.93 xERA into Wednesday’s home start...
