Cole Train rolls into Toronto

Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather: We have a 15-game slate on tap, starting with the Cardinals and Cubs at 2:20 pm pmEST. There are minor rain concerns on the East Coast, but we should avoid rainouts. With a lot of aces pitching as well as some suspect pitching matchups, we have at least three games with totals of 9 runs or more.

Gerrit Cole is coming off seven dominating innings versus the Braves, where he allowed two runs without a walk and nine strikeouts. It took a few games for Cole to knock the rust off when he returned from the IL, but since July 1, Cole has allowed three earned runs or less in seven straight starts for a 2.72 ERA to go with 53 strikeouts and seven walks over 43 innings pitched.
