HEAD-TO-HEAD: Identifying Consistent SP Targets for 2023

Introduction

In 2020, we developed an Aggregate Consistency Score (ACS) that ranked starting pitchers on a scale of 20-100, with 100 being the best (i.e., most consistent) rating a pitcher could receive. ACS factors in PQS-DOMinant starts, PQS-DISasters, Quality-Consistency Scores and health. Now, with 2 full years of data post the shortened 2020 season, we evaluate which starting pitchers have been most consistent. Using this information we can then draw up a game plan for how to create your own lists of draft day targets.

How ACS is Derived
