We have written a lot about MLB’s changing run-scoring environment. It’s a big deal, as it dramatically impacts the way we play our games. It’s not a new phenomenon anymore; the trend is several years old and we’re past the point of writing “Hey, look over here! This is important, you need to be aware of it.” Even though the decline in run-scoring seems to finally be finding a floor here in 2015 (2015 is up just a hair from 2014), there may still be more we can do here on the site to reflect and highlight the trend.
