You will recall that (in Ron Shandler's voice): "LIMA is an acronym for Low Investment Mound Aces, and also pays tribute to Jose Lima, a $1 pitcher in 1998 who exemplifies the power of the strategy. You start by budgeting a maximum of $60 (out of $260) for your pitching staff. Note that this is a maximum figure. Many successful LIMA teams are built with less expensive staffs.
