FRIDAY, MARCH 4, 2022(all times EST)

  • 5:00-5:10 pm: WELCOME/INTRODUCTION: Brent Hershey and Ray Murphy, BaseballHQ.com
     
  • 5:10-6:10 pm: WHAT'S NEW IN 2022? FIELD (OF PLAY) ISSUES: Sticky stuff, reconfigured stadiums, new rules: How will these MLB issues affect on-the-field play in 2022?

  • 6:10-6:50 pm: THE GREAT STRATEGY DEBATES: INVEST OR FADE? A panel discussion centered on the pros and cons of investing early picks or auction resources or waiting out the "value" later in drafts and auctions. The four areas: stud closers, ace-level starters, elite catchers, and the prickly stolen base question. Expect some spirited opinions!

  • 8:00-9:00 pm: ROSTER ANALYSIS: Attendees can schedule a session with an industry analyst to get a second opinon on keeper list, trade values or post-draft analysis. Small-group sessions will run 20 minutes and be assigned a writer/analyst in accordance with league parameters. Signups will take place starting around March 3.

  • 11:10-12:10: HOW TO ATTACK THE PLAYER POOL—RELIEF PITCHERS: An examination of the strengths, weaknesses, and flat-out zaniness of the saves and relievers market, circa 2022. Experts on fantasy bullpen management weigh in.
