RESEARCH: High pitch counts and PQS, revisited

Introduction
Back in 2013, Patrick Davitt wrote a fascinating research article that showed that we should not avoid pitchers after they have high-pitch-count (PC) starts, especially high-PQS (Pure Quality Starts) efforts. Though on the surface it seemed counterintuitive, these starts actually increased the likelihood of a solid performance in the subsequent start.
