Beyond the Wisdom of the Crowd

BaseballHQ.com presents: First Pitch Forums 2017

March 12 update: The live event tour is over, and the speaker notes are now available for sale. You can pre-order them now, and we'll start distributing them via email by Wednesday, March 15. Scroll down to order!

Whether we realize it or not, our draft day behavior is highly influenced by everyone around us. Average Draft Position (ADP) rankings, mock drafts, news media, even the opinions of our friends shape the way we construct our teams.

It's all essentially crowd-sourced information. But as much as we rely on the "wisdom of the crowd" for other decision-making, when it comes to fantasy baseball, the crowd is often wrong.

Dead wrong.

The 2017 First Pitch Forum program moves you beyond the wisdom of the crowd by identifying the places to stray from consensus opinion. We’ve rebuilt this year's program from the ground up, with the help of some the sharpest minds in the industry. This year, we'll look at the player pool in ways that you never considered. Going position by position, player by player, we'll show you…

  • Where are the strengths, weaknesses and depth
  • Where the ADPs are downright goofy
  • Where to save your auction dollars, and where to max out
  • How to create skills groups to unearth hidden profit
  • Each week's up-to-the-minute spring training noise
  • This year's potential Gary Sanchezes
  • Outrageous but logical black swan candidates

These informative, interactive and exciting three-hour programs will fully prepare you for the 2017 fantasy baseball season.

Join members the BaseballHQ.com team, along with special industry guests, as First Pitch Forums go Beyond the Wisdom of the Crowd. Details on each location appear below, along with confirmed speaker lists (more to come—check back often for updates). We’ll see you this spring at the First Pitch Forum!
