RotoPass is a service that provides access to a network of ten premium fantasy sports sites for a single, low discounted price. Baseball HQ is a part of this network, along with Rotowire.com, STATS Inc., two football sites and more.
I only play fantasy baseball so RotoPass really has limited use for me. Does this mean that I now have to shell out $149 instead of $99 for the use of Baseball HQ alone?
No. You are under no obligation to join RotoPass. It's an option you can choose if you wish. If you want to keep your Baseball HQ subscription alone, that's perfectly fine.
Is everything I currently get on the Baseball HQ web site included if I sign up for RotoPass?
Yes, all web site features are accessible to Rotopass subscribers. The only difference is that, in order to save your fantasy teams with our MACK Team Tracker, you will have to create a separate account through our reader forums. This is free, and strictly an administrative need in order to identify you as a subscriber.
Is there a promotional code I need to use for the special Baseball HQ pricing for RotoPass?
There is no code for the special upgrade pricing. In order to get the special rate, you'll need to click to Rotopass from the BHQ home page (or go directly to http://www.rotopass.com/?partner=baseballhq). Once on that site, enter the email address you used to sign up for BHQ. Their system will automatically recognize you as a Baseball HQ subscriber and offer the special pricing. If you are a Baseball HQ subscriber and are not offered the upgrade pricing, send an email to info@rotopass.com.
If I decide to join RotoPass, should I wait until my Baseball HQ subscription expires?
That's certainly an option. However, if you want the football content, you might not want to wait.
I am currently in the middle of my Baseball HQ subscription. If I join RotoPass, can I get a pro-rated refund for the time remaining on my subscription?
No. The pricing is designed such that there would be no credit to your subscription. When you subscribe to RotoPass, you are gaining access to Baseball HQ (and the nine other sites) for an entirely new term, beginning the day you subscribe (and extending out three, six or 12 months from that date). Yes, you will have duplicate access for whatever time is remaining on your current BHQ subscription, but that is taken into account in the special discounted upgrade rate.
How are GOLD4 memberships handled?
If you sign up for RotoPass, you will have to give up the GOLD4 Plan and its automatic renewal feature. You would then become a customer of Rotopass and have to renew your subscription each year.
Will this affect my standing order for the Baseball Forecaster under the GOLD4 Plan?
Yes. Your GOLD4 plan will be cancelled since you will no longer have a subscription with us. As such, you will also have to purchase the book separately each year.
What about my free access to RotoHQ as a part of the GOLD4 Plan?
RotoHQ is tied to your BaseballHQ account, so leaving GOLD4 would mean that you have to give up RotoHQ as well.
I am participating in the HQ Moneyball Challenge and could be in line for an extension to my Baseball HQ subscription. How will that work?
Our first option would be to apply that credit to the Baseball Forecaster or First Pitch Forums. However, if you'd prefer a refund, we will do that.
