RESEARCH: Pitcher-Positive Outcomes, pt. 2

In our last R&A article, we looked at evidence for the sustainability of what we called “Pitcher-Positive Outcomes” (PPO).
We identified K% and Infield Flyballs (IFFB) as obvious PPOs because they result in essentially 100% out rates, and further, do not allow baserunners do advance.
Based on out rates for various trajectory/hardness of hit combinations, we added Medium-Hit Flyballs (MFBs) to the list of PPOs.
