HEAD-TO-HEAD: Grounded in Reality

Making his major league debut in front of 47,470 fans at Yankee Stadium on September 22, 2011, Tampa Bay Rays top prospect Matt Moore set a team record for strikeouts in crucial game for the Rays.  Fanning eleven Yankees in only five innings, Moore’s impressive start represented the best case scenario for fantasy owners looking at September call-ups.  However, a closer look at head-to-head strategy in the last month of the season shows that fantasy owners should temper expectations when it comes to MLB roster expansions.
