"There aren't enough superlatives for this book. I haven't been this excited about a baseball book in a long time.
I have been buying other prospect books for years, (and I remain a big proponent of them) but all the cross-referencing and figuring out what I like/don't like about A and AA players often just took too much time and effort, leaving me with large lists of players, but way way too little feel for what was going to happen with them (Jason Stokes or Ryan Howard is an easy call now, but it wasn't a few years ago). It's like going from Pony Express to e-mail, or from riding a bicycle down railroad tracks to riding a Harley in Napa Valley, or catching catfish in a pond to catch marlin on a yacht, or . . . . well, you get the idea -- I like this book."

"Got my book today. I'm very, very impressed! Anyone who didn't order already should strongly consider this book.
Deric has the pitch repertoire of every pitcher (FB, CB, CU, etc.) with the average speed range for each, and ratings of each pitch (1-5). Awesome. Your jaw will drop, your mouth will water. Plus there are projected roles and expected MLB debuts for every player. He also goes into depth on how he scouts players, what to look for, key measurements, what attributes are important for being productive MLB players as well as elite MLB players. This book will enhance your enjoyment of baseball whether you are a fantasy player or not, whether in keeper or redraft leagues. He not only tells you what, he tells you how, and why. AAAAA Highest Rating."

"I really liked the 5 year history of top 100 lists so you could see how various prospects developed (or didn't) during that time. Plus I liked that there were two top 100 lists, one for baseball and one for fantasy impact."
